Training

One Eighty offers the Training for Success Programme, in conjunction with Southern Regional College. The training is open to young people with a learning disability, aged between 16 and 22.

• Skills for Work – Up to three years to gain skills, experience and a vocationally related qualification at Level 1 to be able to gain employment.

Training is available in front of house service or kitchen work. Qualifications include food preparation and cooking, food service, food hygiene, barista training, essential skills and work skills.

While on the programme trainees receive a non means tested Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) of £40 per week along with travel allowance.
